Where do I find you?

We are located at 606 – 7th Street SW in Medicine Hat, AB.

The main doors are at the top of the stairs on the south side of the building, facing 7th Street SW.

The elevator entrance can be found immediately to the left of the stairs.

Where should I park?

When you arrive at Temple Baptist Church, you are welcome to park on the street or in one of the two parking lots.

There is a parking lot at the corner of 6th Avenue SW and 7th Street SW, opposite the church.

The rear parking lot can be accessed from 6th Avenue SW. The rear entrance to the building is available on Sunday mornings.

Is the building wheelchair accessible?

Yes!  You can find the elevator entrance immediately to the left of the stairs to the main door on 7th Street SW.

What can I expect in a Sunday service?

You are free to find a seat in the sanctuary wherever you are comfortable. We invite you to worship God with us in song and hear a message from God’s Word, the Bible.

The service runs 60-75 minutes in length.

You can check out one of our recent services here.

What should I wear?

Dress comfortably, just like you would if you were going to work, school or out. There is no dress code.

Do I need to bring a Bible?

You are welcome to bring your own Bible if you have one. Most weeks, the Bible text for the sermon will be up on the projector screen. There are also Bibles for you to use in the backs of the pews.

Will I be asked to give money?

No. Giving is part of our worship, but there is no expectation or obligation for visitors to participate.

Is there anything for kids?

Children start out in the sanctuary with the whole church family for the singing part of the service. Just before the start of the message, children aged 2-5 are dismissed to Temple Tots, and Grades 1-6 are dismissed to Children’s Church for their own age-appropriate lesson and activities.

For babies and toddlers under age 2, a supervised Nursery is available during the services. The nursery is located just off the foyer.

What is "Communion"? Do I participate?

Communion is a reminder of each believer’s identity, belonging, and purpose together in the family of God. It is a celebration of the past, present, and future hope of the resurrected Christ. Sometimes it is also called “The Lord’s Supper” or “The Lord’s Table.”

Anyone who has accepted God’s forgiveness and surrendered their lives to Him is invited to take part in Communion at TBC, regardless of denominational affiliation or spiritual tradition.

If you have not yet made a commitment to Christ, we encourage you to use that portion of the service to pray and invite God to show you what next steps you should take in your pursuit of Him.

Can I join the service online?

Yes!  You can participate in our Sunday morning livestream service by clicking here or scrolling down the page.
